Charles C. Keller, formerly a name Partner, currently Senior Counsel at Peacock Keller, one of the largest and longest established full service law firms in Southwestern Pennsylvania, has been selected as a co-recipient of the Southpointe CEO Association’s 2016 World Class CEO Award.
Keller and co-recipient Douglas G. Lee, President of Waynesburg University, were selected for their excellence in profession, achievements in service, and dedication to the business development of the Southpointe Industrial Park. They will be jointly honored Thursday, June 16, at a dinner reception at the Hilton Garden Inn in Southpointe.
Keller has held many leadership roles with national, state and local Bar Associations receiving Washington County Bar Association’s highest honor - the Distinguished Service Award, in 1963, and being named a Fellow with American College of Trial Lawyers.
"I have long believed that community service and business development should go hand in hand," said Keller. "I am proud that I personally, as well as my law firm, have been able to not only serve the community through involvement in service clubs such as Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis and Zonta clubs, but also guide and help counsel many of the prominent businesses that make Southpointe what it is today. Throughout the communities of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Mr. Keller has impacted the quality of life with his leadership roles in the Washington County Easter Seal Society, the Mon Valley United Way, the Mon Valley Hospital, Southwest Pennsylvania Human Services, the California Area Chamber of Commerce and the Washington County Community Foundation. Keller also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania State Chamber of Commerce, and Executive Vice President and Director of the Allegheny Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Aside from his legal acumen, Keller is perhaps best known for his involvement with Rotary International, a world-wide service organization of more than 1,200,000 business and professional men and women organized into nearly 34,000 clubs in 170 countries. Keller served as the organization’s President, and Foundation Trustee Chair, and held many other senior leadership positions since he joined Rotary in 1950.
Currently, Keller continues his partnership with Rotary International, concentrating his efforts in the field of international service with the Rotary Foundation, which works to foster world peace, goodwill and understanding.

Peacock Keller, a full-service law firm headquartered in Washington, Pa., proudly announces the selection of two new partners, Rachel K. Lozosky and Donald B. Formoso. During their time as associate attorneys, Ms. Lozosky and Mr. Formoso have carved out significant niches with respect to their particular areas of practice and we look forward to their continued contribution to the Firm’s success.
Ms. Lozosky joined Peacock Keller in the fall of 2008 and concentrates her practice in education and employment law. She serves as solicitor for numerous public school districts, providing counsel on a wide variety of issues and represents public school districts throughout the greater Pittsburgh region through the Firm’s position as an approved defense firm with the Pennsylvania School Boards Association Insurance Trust. Ms. Lozosky also represents private companies and non-profit entities in employment law matters, including employee discipline, hiring and termination, and counsels these clients regarding compliance with myriad employment laws including the Family and Medical Leave Act, COBRA and federal and state anti-discrimination laws.
Ms. Lozosky graduated cum laude from Washington & Jefferson College in 2001 with a B.A in Political Science and Psychology with a minor in Spanish and was elected to several honor societies. Ms. Lozosky went on to earn her law degree from the University Of Pittsburgh in 2004. She is very active in professional organizations, presenting numerous CLE courses and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Washington and the Washington and Jefferson College Alumni Executive Council.
Mr. Formoso joined Peacock Keller in the fall of 2010 and concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, estate planning, estate administration, and real estate. Mr. Formoso provides counsel to business owners with respect to start-up, sales and purchases of existing businesses, commercial transactions, corporate governance and shareholder agreements. In addition, Mr. Formoso prepares Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney documents, and Living Wills, and advises clients with respect to estate administration, Estate and Gift Tax planning, Special Needs planning, and business succession planning. Mr. Formoso is a frequent lecturer at Continuing Legal Education programs on business, estate planning and tax issues.
Mr. Formoso earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Honors College of Politics and Philosophy program. While studying at the University of Pittsburgh, he was selected as a Brackenridge Research fellow, served as an undergraduate teaching assistant, and was elected to several honor societies.
Mr. Formoso volunteers his time on many non-profit boards, such as the Olivia Scott Foundation, and is active with the Knights of Columbus. Most recently Mr. Formoso joined the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Steele served as a Sergeant in the United States Army for four years and was honorably discharged in 1992 before attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Safety Sciences in 1996, Mr. Steele worked as a Construction Safety Manager until he opened his own construction company in 1998.
In 2011, Mr. Steele entered the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During law school, he interned with Southwestern Pennsylvania Legal Aid Services as well as the Allegheny County District Attorney's office where he prosecuted several non-jury trials. Mr. Steele was also employed as a Law Clerk for a Pittsburgh law firm during his second and third years at Pitt Law and won the Moot Court competition along with the Best Brief award in 2013. Following law school, Steele worked as an associate for a Pittsburgh law firm before joining Peacock Keller at the end of August 2015.
Mr. Steele is admitted to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as the Allegheny and Washington County Bar Associations.
