  • Eva H. Ahern Promoted to Partner

    Peacock Keller proudly announces the promotion of Eva H. Ahern to Partner. During her time as an associate, Eva developed a significant practice in Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Elder Law. Peacock Keller looks forward to Eva’s continued success in her new role as Partner. 


    Eva H. Ahern graduated from Lehigh University in 2005, with a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Science and a minor in Economics.  In 2008, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law.


    Mrs. Ahern served as a law clerk for the late Honorable Mark Mascara, Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County, Pennsylvania.  Her clerkship covered several areas of law including, civil, juvenile dependency, family and criminal law.  At the conclusion of her clerkship, she worked as a Trust Officer with PNC Bank, N.A.


    Eva began working for Peacock Keller in 2012 and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania, Washington County Bar Associations and is the current President of the Washington County Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Section.  Eva resides in Pittsburgh with her husband, Jeremy and their son, Hutton.

  • Andrew S. Chumney Elected Managing Partner

    On January 11th, Andrew S. Chumney was elected Managing Partner by the Firm’s partnership. Andrew has served as a member of the Firm’s management team for three years as assistant managing partner. Andrew is a member of the Firm’s Energy Department and has worked with some of the county’s largest energy producers in a broad array of energy and real estate related matters. Peacock Keller is looking forward to 2019 and the leadership Andrew will bring to the future of the Firm.  


    Andrew graduated from Washington and Jefferson College, cum laude, in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.  In 2003, he received his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law, serving as Executive Articles Editor for the Duquesne Law Review. 


    Andrew is a member of the Pennsylvania and Washington County Bar Associations as well as the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation and regularly presents on energy related topics to various organizations.


    Andrew was born in Cambridge, Ohio and since moving to Washington County has been active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Washington County and Habitat for Humanity and served as a coach for the Canonsburg Youth Baseball League, Canon-McMillan Youth Basketball League, and TWIST Softball. He and his wife, Jennifer, currently reside in South Franklin with their son, Christian, and daughter, Ava.
