Donald B. Formoso, a partner at Peacock Keller, was recently elected to Washington County Habitat for Humanity's Board of Directors. Formoso will serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term, concluding in 2020.
About Habitat for Humanity:
Using Volunteer workers and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds simple, decent, affordable houses for partner families. Homes are sold to partner families with a no-profit, zero percent mortgages. Homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are used to build more Habitat houses. PARTNER means that the qualifying family agrees to work with Habitat by completing 350 – 500 hours of sweat equity in the building of their Habitat home as well as attending budgeting and credit counseling workshops.
