Susan Roberts is a member of the Firm's Litigation Department where she handles a variety of general litigation matters. Her primary focus is in the area of employment law. Susan represents clients in various aspects of employment law, including Title VII actions based on race and age discrimination and sexual harassment claims. Susan has also litigated claims involving retaliation and wrongful discharge. Susan counsels clients on a wide range of workplace issues, including employment agreements, hiring and termination decisions, employee discipline, medical leave, disability accommodation issues and personnel policies. Susan also assits employers in the preparation of employee handbooks, severance agreements and non-competition agreements.
Susan litigates employment cases in both state and federal courts and before the EEOC and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
Susan graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She is a member of the Washington and Allegheny County Bar Associations and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.
