John A. Rodgers graduated summa cum laude in 1974 from Washington and Jefferson College, subsequently attended the Dickinson School of Law, graduating in 1977, where he was a member of the Dickinson Law Review.  John joined the law firm of Peacock Keller & Ecker, LLP in 1999, where his legal practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and real estate.

John is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Probate and Real Estate Section and an active member of the Washington County Bar Association, having at one time served as its Secretary, Vice President and President, and is presently serving on several of its committees.

In addition to his professional activities, John's extensive involvement in the community includes serving on the Board of Directors of Family Service of Washington, Try-Again Homes, Inc., Hospice Care, Inc., and the David Bradford House.  A local and national leader in the Presbyterian Church, John is an active member of Thomas Presbyterian Church in Eighty-Four, Pennsylvania, and served as a member of the General Assembly Council of the Presbyterian Church from 1995 through 1999, and on its Executive Committee in 1998-1999, and currently serves as Stated Clerk of the Washington Presbytery.

John and his wife Gail reside in McMurray, and have two children, Jonathan and Heather.
